The September, 2009 fire at St. Jude damaged much of the hospital's inventory. Yet, the work of healing goes on, so replenishing medical supplies, equipment and medications is a top priority -- especially as St. Jude prepares to open the doors of its new hospital later this year.
Please review the Shipping Recommendations and Needs Lists before making solicitations on the hospital's behalf. Also, please contact St. Jude Purchasing Manager, Christina Charlery, at 1-758-484-0124 or via email at purchasedstjude@candw.lc before any materials are shipped. This will reduce duplication and ensure that materials meet the needs of the hospital.
Financial support is the #1 request from St. Jude staff, who face an ongoing challenge to provide care to patients with limited funds. Please mail your tax-deductible donation to:

100% of your financial gift supports St. Jude
Your HHV donation directly supports patient care at St. Jude in two ways.
First, it helps fund shipping costs associated with donated equipment and supplies. These materials are given by groups that may not have additional funds to pay for overseas transport.
Second, your dollars enable HHV to purchase supplies on a modest scale. A1C testing supplies, for example, are providing diabetic patients with better day-to-day control of their condition.
HHV requires that all grant requests pass an evaluation by a team of St. Jude clinicians, managers and board members. This step ensures that HHV priorities reflect those of St. Jude.Hewanorra Health Volunteers
