Dr. Lisa Fleischer is a family practice physician from Kalispell, Montana. She has volunteered annually at the hospital since 2001 and is purchasing a home close to the St. Jude campus. Dr. Fleischer is medical director at Big Sky Family Medicine. Her husband, Carl, and grown children, Cecily and Stella, also are returning volunteers.
Kathy Comito worked at St. Jude from 1993 to 1998 as a liaison with Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. She also was its administrator from 1998 to 2001 and returned to serve as quality assurance manager from 2007-2009. Kathy is now back in Des Moines, Iowa, enjoying semi-retirement and works closely with the St. Jude staff, particularly in recovery efforts for the hospital.
Mary Beth Casement joined her family for a long-term volunteer assignment at St. Jude in 2004-2005 and has enjoyed several return visits. She has worked 20 years in the marketing areas of healthcare, financial services and retail organizations. She and her husband, David (Internal Medicine and and Pediatrics), live in St. Paul, Minnesota, with veteran volunteers Daniel, age 12, and Ellie, age 11.
Dave Sibert is a graduate of Boise State University's nursing program. His wife, Katherine, and both daughters are also employed by Northwest Healthcare in Kalispell, Montana, and share his love of volunteering at St. Jude. He has a 25-year tenure with a background in critical care, served on the air ambulance program and has been the director of quality for the last 10 years. They live in the Salish Mountains northwest of Kalispell.
Ricky Gilkes is human resources director at St. Jude, where is has worked in various capacities since 1992. Born and raised in St. Lucia, Ricky completed high school in Minnesota, undergraduate work at Wake Forest University, and received a Master's of Public Health degree at Drake University.
Dr. Larry Iversen completed the University of Washington Orthopaedic Residency program and has practiced general orthopaedic surgery in Bremerton, Washington since 1977. He has made six trips to support St. Jude by providing orthopaedic care, delivering equipment and medicines, and leading three Rotary teams as they performed hospital renovations, including painting the exterior, remodeling the outpatient clinic, and helping to build the new maternity ward.
Dr. Chierry Poyotte is the current medical director at St. Jude. He is a board-certified Internist who received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his residency program at Harlem Hospital in New York. He received an MBA from Pepperdine University and served for many years as medical director at the Watts Foundation, a large ambulatory care institution in Los Angeles.
Larry Tyler is Chairman and CEO of Tyler & Company, a firm he founded in 1978 that specializes in finding executives for the healthcare and life sciences industries.
